During my time at Central Saint Martins (UAL) studying BA (Hons) Culture, Criticism, and Curation, I was able to explore many different ways to communicate what I see and how I feel about art and culture. Though the course discussed many aspects of culture, I honed in on contemporary art, photography, and British national identity. My dissertation allowed me to focus on the threads between these three things through the work of Ingrid Pollard. I have placed extracts of my dissertation essay and research journal below.
